Sharonview Federal Credit Union Promoted to Vice President of Risk
Indian Land, South Carolina, Aug 23, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – Casey Munn has been promoted to vice president of risk management at Sharonview Federal Credit Union, one of the top 200 credit unions in the country.
In this role, Munn will be responsible for identifying, assessing and managing the operational, financial and strategic risks of Sharonview. He will ensure that Sharonview has a strong culture of compliance and takes the necessary steps to stay safe and meet all regulatory requirements.
Munn joined Sharonview in February 1996 and has held a number of positions within the company including Mortgage Underwriter, Mortgage Manager, Director of Loan Operations, Vice President of Lending Operations, Vice President of Home Loans and Head of Compliance. His extensive experience with Sharonview makes him the ideal candidate for his new role.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Management from the University of South Carolina and his Master of Business Administration from Winthrop University. He also holds professional certifications in Compliance, BSA / AML (Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering) and Risk Management.
Originally from Rock Hill, South Carolina, Munn continues to live in his hometown with his wife, Shannon. They have two children: Ashley, 24, and Ryan, 19. When not working he enjoys running, golfing, filming and is avid college sports.
